Rob Knight abused by ex-wife suffered years of alcoholic abuse

My name is Rob Knight.

I have suffered years of domestic abuse from my ex wife as she is an alcoholic. I have been arrested twice and locked up for ten hours in a police cell for nothing. I am now facing a possible charge of ABH for the second time although I don’t see her for weeks on end. The first time was last year she called the police saying that I had hurt her and once she had another detox she told the police that it was all lies. The second time was yesterday morning at 4 am the police were banging at my door as she had told them I had hit her , I have not seen her for weeks. My four year old daughter was sleeping at the time and was told I would be home by 7am. I did not get out until tea time. the police gave my daughter to the mother who was clearly drunk, form the police cell I called the child protection team who were not very helpful. She took my daughter home and just passed out leaving my daughter to fend for herself. Her older brother alerted my child minder who took my daughter in. Later that day she was hospitalised at it was found that she had taken prescribed medication to overdose yet again and was six times over the drink driving limit should she be driving. She is facing a possible prison sentence next month as last year she was found with uk's highest alcohol reading ever she was placed on a suspended sentence at the time and a community order. Well she drove again this time with my daughter in the car this month I alerted the police and she was arrested for a breach of the order. She told me on Sunday that she wanted to make my lose my job as I rely on a clean criminal record to be able to perform my duties as I am a housing related support officer. she is constantly harassing me on a daily basis but the police are not really interested they just say change my phone numbers which I have done twice over the years. It is so wrong that given her history she can just phone up the police drunk and say anything and I have to suffer this trauma every time. Can you help me with any advice?.

thanks
